Anna Restuccia is an illustrator and designer from Howell, Michigan. She studied illustration at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and has been a graphic artist at Diocesan for over two years.
Graphite and paper serve as Anna’s main tools for sketching, and through Photoshop and Procreate she refines her work to replicate traditional media, namely oil, watercolor and ink. Her subjects are inspired by and depict people and nature. Since her time at Diocesan, much of the subject matter of her work is more immediately centered on topics of the Catholic faith, which has always been a source of inspiration. She has a deep interest in classical artists and the Catholic tradition of art, which continue to instruct and inspire her style.
Anna’s goal is to communicate the essential Art, God’s Beauty, Truth, and Goodness. Her work is an attempt at sharing His act of creating by imitation, as an expression of love, in order to better understand herself and others and God’s call to sanctity in this life.
